Anarosh Ilish Recipe/Hilsha in sweet and tangy Pineapple sauce/আনারস ইলিশ রেসিপি
Ingredients: 1. Ilish/Hilsha Fish- 8-10 pcs 2. Anarosh/Pineapple-1 3. Oil- ½ cup 4. Sliced Onion- 1 cup 5. Turmeric powder- 1tsp 6. Red Chili powder- 2tsp 7. Coriander powder- 1tsp 8. Salt and sugar to taste 9. Green Chilli-8-10 Instructions: 1. Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise. Remove the hard part from the middle. Finely mince with a teaspoon/fork 2. Heat oil in a pan. Fry onion till lightly brown in color. Add all the powdered spices and add a little water to sauté. When spices are well seasoned stir in pineapple. Sauté for 5 minutes. Add salt and if pineapple is sour add 2tsp of sugar. My pineapple is already sweet so I have not added any sugar in it. 3. Spread the fish pieces over the pineapple sauce and after few minutes of sauté, flip the fish pieces only once. Add ½ cup of hot water, cover the pan and cook for 35-40 minutes, do not stir in between, just shake the pot to keep the fish pieces from breaking apart. 4. Add some green chilies and cover for 2 more minutes. When oil separates from the gravy turn off the flame and Pineapple Ilish is ready to be served with rice or roti. Unique recipe of Chepa Shutki Bhuna with Chingri/ শুঁটকি দিয়ে চিংড়ি ভুনার সহজ রেসিপি
Ingredients: 1. Dry Fish (Chepa Shutki)- 8-10 pcs (85gm) 2. Fresh/frozen Shrimp (Chingri fish)-15-20 pcs 3. Oil- 1/3 cup 4. Sliced Onion- 1.5 cup 5. Garlic cloves-10-12 pcs 6. Garlic paste-1tsp 7. Turmeric Powder- 1/2tsp 8. Extra hot Red chilli powder- 2tsp 9. Coriander powder- 1tsp 10. Cumin powder- 1tsp 11. Green Chilli- 8-10 pcs 12. Salt to taste 13. Hot Water- ½ cup Directions: Heat 1/3 cup oil in a pan. Once hot add 1.5 cup sliced onions, fry for 4-5 minutes or until onion is soft. Once onion is soft add pre washed and cleaned chepa shutki in the pan, add garlic cloves and fry for few minutes. Now add pre washed and cleaned shrimp, 1 tsp salt and 1tsp garlic paste, fry for 4-5 minutes or until the aroma of shutki and chingri come out. Now add all the powdered spices and ½ cup of water and saute for 1-2 minutes. Cover the pan and cook on low-medium heat for 10-12 minutes and oil separates from the pan. Stir occasionally. Finally add some green chillies and cover the pan again for 1minute. Turn off the flame and delicious shutki, chingri bhuna is ready to be served with cooked rice. Ingredients: 400 gram Basa/ Haddock Fillet 1 cup Gram Flour/Besan ¼ cup Rice Flour ½ tsp Chilli powder/Paprika ½ tsp Turmeric Powder 2 tbsp Shan Fish Masala 1tsp hot oil for batter ½ tsp salt (to taste) Water ¾ cup ½ tsp baking powder Oil for deep frying Instructions: Cut fish fillet into strips. Prawn Malai Curry I Shrimp Malai Curry Recipe I Chingri Malai Curry
Ingredients: 500g Prawn/Shrimp ½ TSP Turmeric Powder (for coating) ½ TSP Salt (for coating) 1/3 cup Ghee/Butter/Oil 400ml Coconut Milk ¼ Cup Heavy Cream (Optional) 1 Bay leaf 4 Cardamom 4 Cloves 1 Cinnamon Stick 4/3 cup Onion Paste (2 medium size onion) 1 TBSP Ginger Paste 1 TBSP Garlic Paste 2 TSP Red Chilli Powder (to taste) 2 TSP Turmeric Powder 1 TSP Coriander Powder 1 TSP Cumin Powder ½ TSP Garam Masala Powder 1 TSP Sugar ½ TSP Salt (to taste) 4-6 Green Chillies Few Coriander Leaves Process: In a bowl coat Shrimp with turmeric powder and salt. Heat a pan, add 2 TBSP oil. Fry Shrimp for 3 minutes (turning halfway). Remove from the pan and repeat the process for the remaining shrimp. In the same pan heat 1/3 cup ghee over medium flame, now add whole spices and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add onion paste and saute for about 2-3 minutes. After that add ginger, garlic paste, salt and saute for 3-4 minutes or until raw smell raw goes off. Now add coconut milk and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Now add sugar and adjust salt. Add 2 green chilies. Now return shrimp to the coconut gravy and cover and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Open the lid, add garam masala and stir in heavy cream. After 1-2 minutes add some green chilies and few coriander leaves and turn off the heat. Delicious Prawn Malai Curry is ready to be served with Basmati Rice/Roti/Pulao. Ruhee Fish Zafrani (Saffron) Korma
Ingredients: Ruhee/Rui Fish/Hilsha 5 Pieces (400-500g) 3 TSP oil for fish frying 3 TSP Ghee for cooking 1 Bay leaf 1 Cardamom 1 Cinnamon Stick 1 Small onion sliced 1 TSP Ginger paste 1 TSP Garlic paste 1 Medium onion paste 3 TSP Poppy seed and Almond paste (5-6 almonds and 1 tsp poppy seed paste together) ¼ cup Sour Yogurt beaten with 1 TSP Sugar Few strands of Saffron soaked well in ½ Cup of Warm Milk ¼ cup Fried Onion Few Green Chilli Salt to taste Process: In a bowl take fish pieces and sprinkle some salt over the fish. Heat 3 tsp of oil in a pan. Fry fish pieces on low- medium heat for 6 minutes, flip the fish pieces after 3 minutes. Turn off the flame and remove from the pan. Keep aside. In the same oil heat 2-3 TBSP ghee, add bay leaf, cardamom and cinnamon stick. Sauté for 1 minute. Add sliced onion and fry until it becomes light golden brown in color. Add ginger, garlic paste sauté for 1-2 minute. Add onion paste, salt and sauté for 2-3 minute. After that add poppy seed and almond paste, saute for few minutes then add yogurt and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add little water and saute for 5-6 minutes or until oil separates from the gravy. Then add fish pieces and cook on low-medium heat for 6-7 minutes without lid. Flip the fish pieces once. Then add saffron soaked milk and cover the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat. Open the lid add green chillies and cover again and cook for 1-2 minutes. Finally add fried onion and turn off the flame. Serve with plain pulao.

Easy Shrimp Cakes Recipe I How to make easy Shrimp Cake at home
Shrimp Cake recipe by Spice on Fire Ingredients: Shrimp 450-500g ¼ tsp salt (to taste) Corn starch 1TBSP Fish Sauce 1 TBSP Soy Sauce 1 TBSP 1 TSP Sugar Oil 1TBSP 1 Egg White ½ TSP freshly ground black pepper 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 2 cups vegetable oil for frying Process: Add all the ingredients except oil and breadcrumbs from the above list into a food processor. Blend for 1 minute or until sooth paste. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Take breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl or tray. Wet your hands and take ¼ cup shrimp paste, roll into a ball to make ¾ inch thick patty. Coat patties with breadcrumbs, deep fry on medium heat each side for 3-4 minutes. Flip the patties 2-3 times in between. Fry patties till golden brown and crispy on both sides. Drain on a paper towel. Serve with salad and sauce. TIPS: Place shrimp in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before making paste. Shahi Ilish Pulao | Shahi Hilsha Pulao
Ingredients for the Fish: For Marination: 1. 6 Pcs Hilsha Fish 2. 5 TBSP Yogurt 3. 1TBSP Red Chilli Powder 4. ½ TBSP Salt For Cooking: 1. ½ Cup Vegetable Oil 2. 1 cup sliced Onions 3. 2TBSP Ginger Paste 4. 1TBSP Garlic Paste 5. 1 TSP Garam Masala Powder 6. 1TBSP Raisins 7. 6-7 Green Chillies 8. ½ Lime Juice 9. 2 TSP Sugar 10. 1 TBSP Blanched Almond 11. ½ Cup Hot Milk 12. ¼ TSP Saffron Strands 13. 1 TBSP Kewra Water For Rice: 1. 4 Cups Kalijeera/ Basmati Rice (900g) 2. ¼ Cup Ghee/Butter 3. 1 Bay Leaf 4. 2 Cinnamon Sticks 5. 4 Cardamom Pods 6. 4 Cloves 7. 1 ½ TSP Salt (To Taste) 8. 8 Cups Hot Water Measuring cup used (1 cup= 235ml) For Rice and Fish Final Mix: 1. Cooked Rice 2. Cooked Fish 3. 4 Green Chillies 4. 2 TBSP Cream 5. 1 TBSP Ghee 6. 1-2 TBSP Fried Onions Process: 1. Soak the Saffron Strands in Kewra Water, Keep aside 2. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, Chilli powder and salt together. Add the Fish pieces and mix in the marinade well. Keep aside for 10 Minutes. 3. Soak Almonds in Hot water and remove the skin 4. Wash Rice and drain water and keep aside 5. Blend the Blanched Almond with Hot Milk and keep aside 6. Heat Oil in a Pan, Add Sliced Onions, Fry till Golden Brown in color 7. Stir in Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Garam masala powder, fry for 1 minute 8. Add Marinated Fish pieces and cook over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway through 9. After that add ½ cup water and cover and cook for 8 minutes over a medium heat 10. Open the lid, add raisins, green chillies, lemon juice and sugar and cook for another 5 minutes with lid on 11. Now reduce the heat to low, add almond milk mixture, saffron kewra mixture to the fish 12. Cook for another 5 minutes 13. Remove from the Stove 14. Heat ¼ cup ghee in another pan 15. Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom stick, cloves, fry few seconds 16. Add drained rice and fry over a high heat for 5 minutes 17. Now pour Hot water and bring to a boil over a high heat 18. Cook till the water is absorbed 19. Reduce the heat to very low, cover and cook for 8 minutes 20. After 8 minutes, spread the fish pieces over the rice 21. Add Green chillies 22. Sprinkle with ghee and cream 23. Add fried onions 24. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes 25. After that, remove the fish pieces to a dish 26. Give the rice a good stir 27. Transfer rice to a serving dish 28. Spread the fish pieces all over the rice 29. Sprinkle with fried onions 30.
